The Divine Nine,
United in Service

The National Pan-Hellenic Council of Hudson County is the coordinating body of the nine historically Black Greek-letter fraternities and sororities — serving Jersey City, Bayonne, Hoboken, and beyond.

Who We Are

One Council. Nine Legacies.

Founded nationally in 1930 at Howard University, the National Pan-Hellenic Council unites the nine historically Black Greek-letter organizations. Our council carries that legacy in New Jersey's most densely woven county.

Unity

One coordinating council for the nine historically Black Greek-letter organizations active across Hudson County — aligned in purpose, governance, and voice.

Service

From MLK Day of Service to food and cereal drives, our chapters show up for Jersey City, Bayonne, Hoboken, and every corner of the county.

Scholarship

We invest in Hudson County students through our scholarship program and the educational missions of all nine member organizations.
